Standing & Seating capacity
Capacity varies on the use of the venue and the number of tables, serving areas and other factors such as fire safety bylaws. For example, a cocktail reception may allow up to twice the capacity of a dining area. If you have dining and dancing, each area will be calculated differently for capacity. Each one of our geodesic dome calculator displays capacity for a certain size of a dome.
NOTE: many capacity calculations do not take into account space reserved for alleys and other areas designated for circulation of attendees. This is one of the reasons some capacity calculations vary significantly from one to the other. Your local authorities have the final say in allowable capacity.
